So this site actually runs on WordPress and I thought it would be cool to review how it actually works.

I’ve used WordPress before for other sites but since the setup was fairly simple had not really gone into the technical details before.

On a high level, WordPress is basically just a web server, a database, and some PHP scripts that connect the two. When you access a post (or really any action) WordPress uses the PHP scripts to dynamically generate the content based on the settings that you setup when you created the account.

In an age when computers rule the world, it really makes you realize that often the simplest designs are the most successful.
